Kawai

Kawai, a small, handcrafted stoneware lidded box made in the traditional kurinuki style, shaped by hand from a single piece of clay. Applied slip and carefully cutaway sections create an organic opening, offering a distinctive way to store small treasures, jewellery, keepsakes, or other personal items.

Hand-finished with sculptural character and subtle variations, this decorative vessel is both functional and ornamental.
